Steward

Stone was meant to last forever.
Swiss construction sites occasionally have other plans.

This table is made from stone left behind during demolition or renovation. Found on Swiss building sites, selected and polished.

The raw edges tell you where it’s been. The polished surface shows what it’s still got.

Underneath: an almost absurdly slender steel frame, quietly doing the heavy lifting.

Somewhere between demolition and precision.
Call him what you like.

We call him Steward.
